The impact of the European digital identity wallet on payment institutions and electronic money institutions

The EU digital identity wallet (EUDI Wallet) will play a key role in the digitization of payment services.

That's why we're hosting a one-hour session to explore its many applications. This workshop will highlight the concrete impact on the payment journey and how it can simplify customer interactions.

With adoption imminent across all Member States, it's time to address the transformations it will bring for citizens and businesses.

The webinar will begin with an introduction on the relevance of the EU digital identity wallet in the European digital strategy. We will then provide an overview of the benefits of the EUDI wallet, illustrated by pilot projects from the first phase of experimentation, which is coming to an end at European level. Finally, we will examine specific cases related to financial services. The webinar will also provide an opportunity for discussion at the end of the session.

This webinar will be hosted by Corina Fontaine, Partner at Onepoint, and Sylvie Calsacy, Payments Expert at Onepoint.

Corina has contributed to several white papers on wallets and digital identity. With recognized experience in the field of payments, she has participated in major financial services digitization projects and will share her vision on the implementation of a project as strategic as the EUDI Wallet.

Sylvie is directly involved in the next phase of testing for the EUDI Wallet, focusing on B2B payments, organized by the European Commission. She also participates in the work of the CNMP and has held management positions in programs such as PSD2 and the digital euro at a world-renowned payment service provider.
